The DiGidot PxLNet Transmitter is a data range extender that converts the SPI signal to DiGidot PxLNet protocol. So it is possible to transmit the SPI signal from Digital Strips (e.g. FLEX STRIP DIGITAL, FLEX STRIP OPAL LIVERPOOL DIGITAl, FLEX TUBE DIGITAL) from the outputs of a DiGidot C4 Interface over a long distance (max. 250 m). A suitable PxLNet Transceiver module is required on the side of the Digital Strips for each output of the DiGidot C4. The PxLNet Transceiver module is very compact and works with 5-48 volt, so it can be comfortably supplied by the power supply of the Digital Strips. A standard RJ45 network cable (from CAT5 onwards) is used as the data line for each output. The PxLNet Transmitter is conveniently plugged into the existing output socket of the DiGidot C4 interface. A separate plug connection or cabling is not necessary. A DiGidot C4 interface is required to operate the PxLNet Transmitter. The PxLNet Transceiver module can be used as a receiver or as transmitter. This makes it possible to transfer a SPI signal e.g. from one end of a Digital Strip over a long distance to the next Digital Strip. Therefore two PxLNet Transceiver modules are necessary. The maximum distance between a PxLNet Transmitter or transceiver to the receiving transceiver module is 250 m. The PxLNet Transmitter and the PxLNet Transceiver module are available individually or as a set with PxLNet Transmitter and four PxLNet Transceiver modules.
